Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan (SSA).has released vacancies for contract Basis in schools of Directorate of Education Delhi . To Engagement of Subject Specific Teacher ( TGT’s ) and Engagement or Primary School Teachers (Assistant Teacher) PRT contract basis, under SSA, in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas of Directorate of Education, Delhi.

2 These teachers are proposed to be engaged purely on contract basis till 31.03.2016.
3 The Consolidated salary @ of Rs. 28800/- per month will be paid to these teachers. No extra
allowance will be admissible.
4. Candidates with Graduation in the specific subject with B.Ed. can apply.
5. As per Delhi Gazette Notification dated 07.10.2011. only those who are qualified in Elementary
Stage in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test conducted by CBSE will be considered for
appointment of teachers for class VI-VIII in the schools of Delhi
6. Qualification : As per Col. No.08 of the Recruitment Rules, the Essential and other
qualification required for direct recruits lor TGT arc as follows: -
Bachelor's Degree (Honours/Pass) or equivalent from a recognized University having
secured 45% marks in aggregate, in two school subjects of which at least one out of the
following should have been at the elective level: -
(i)- English, (ii) - Mathematics, (iii)- Natural/Physical Science, (IV)- Social Science
NOTE: Main Subject for TGT (Natural Science/Physical Science) shall be PhYSICS.
Chemistry Biology. Botany and Zoology.
Social Science: - History/Political Science/ Sociology/Geography/Psychology
NOTE : Should have qualified CTET from CBSE.
Provided Further that the requirement as to minimum of 45% marks in the aggregate In graduation level shall be relaxable in case or:
a. Candidates who passes a Post-Graduate Qualification in my of the teaching
subject listed above.
b. Belonging to SC/ST
c. Physically handicapped candidates
d. Degree/Diploma in Training Education or SA V certificate.
e. Working knowledge of Hindi.
(i) BA (Honours) III one or the Modern Indian Languages (MIL) concerned or BA with
MIL concerned as one of the Elective subjects from a recognized University having
45 % marks in aggregate with one additional language or one school subject at
Degree Level.
OR
Equivalent Oriental Degree in MIL concerned from a recognized University having
45% marks in aggregate
OR
(For appointment as Hindi Teachers only) Sahitya Rattan of Hindi Sahitya
Sammelan Prayag having secured at least 45% marks in aggregate with English in
Matriculation provided further that the requirement as 10 the minimum 45% marks in
the aggregate shall be relaxable in the case of (a) candidate who possess a Post
Graduate Qualification in MIL concerned from a recognized University (b)
candidates belonging 10 SC/ST (c) Physically handicapped candidates.
(II) Degree/Diploma In leaching

Senior Anglo Vernacular Certificate
(III )Knowledge of Hindi is essential
(Amended Rules for Urdu) :
Candidates who possess qualification equivalent to
secondary (10th) Sr. Secondary (12th) or equivalent from recognized/approved Madarsas and for admitting to B.A. degree and after that higher courses like B.Ed from a recognized institution by the UGC are also eligible to apply
NOTE 1-The candidate should have studied the subject concerned as mentioned in the
RRs in all parts /years of graduation. The elective word muy also include main subject as practiced in different Universities".
NOTE 2 -Candidates, who have studied a given subject in only two years of Graduation with three papers each having 100 marks but studied the same subject at the Post Graduation level too shall be considered eligible to apply for the post of contractual TGTs.
(i) Recruitment Rules in detail in respect of all posts are available on the website of
Directorate of Education - www.edudcl.nic.in. Those who fulfill educational
qualification. as specified in Recruitment Rules (RRs) read Note I and Note 2, shall
only apply.
7. Age :
I. 30 years for male candidates and 40 years in case of female candidates as on
20/11/2015.
2. Age relaxable for S years In case of SC/ST candidates admissible.
3. Age relaxable 101·3 years m case of OBC candidates admissible.
4. Age relaxable for candidates with disabilities- 10 years (General),
15 years in the case SC/ST (PH) and 13 years in the case of OBC (PH),
8. The certificate of OBC should be issued bv authority GNCT of Delhi. For SC/ST. candidates
from other States can also be considered.
9. The teachers would be engaged on the basis of merit in academic performance of the applicant
at different level (X. XII or equivalent. Graduation and BEd.) and weight-age would be given to candidates who have worked as teacher under SSA during the year 2014-15
only in any ODE school.
10 .Reservation will be provided as applicable under rules in the Directorate of Education.
11.Teachers employed contract basis can be deployed in any school within the District in which he/she applies Candidates call apply only in one district for a given post.
Note: In case any candidate applies for more than one subject in one district his/her application
will be cancelled.
12. willing candidates may apply online on our website www.edudel.nic.in latest by 20/11/2045 in
anyone of the district of their choice. Candidates are not to send Hard copy or application.
13. The applicant shall till up his or her name as recorded in the certificate of Secondary/ Sr.
Secondary Board Examination, failing which application shall be summarily rejected
14.Weightage would be given to candidates who have worked as contractual teacher under SSA during the year 20 14-15 only ill any DoE school
15. The application shall be submitted online till 20/11/2015 by 5: 00 pm. The result will be
displayed on website on 27/11/2015
The module for on-line application will be operational by 2:00 pm from 12-11-2015.
SSA Recruiting 170 PRT Teachers in Delhi Government Schools 2016
Primary School Teacher - PRT ( Assistan Teacher ) on Contract basis, under SSA, in Sarvoday Vidyalayas of Directorateof Education, Delhi Engagement or Primary School Teachers (Assistant Teacher) contract basis, under SSA, in Sarvodaya Vidyalayas of Directorate of Education, Delhi.

Essential Qualification:
a. Senior Secondary (10+2) or Intermediate or its equivalent from a Recognized Board.
b. Two year diploma or certificate course in Elementary Teachers Education Course/Junior Basic Training or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent from a recognized institution.
c Candidates must have passed Hindi as a subject at Secondary Level.
5. As per Delhi Gazette Notification dated 07-10-2011, only those candidates who are qualified in the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (for class I to V) conducted by CBSE will be considered for appointment of teachers for class I to V in the Sarvodaya Vidyalayas of Delhi.
